The Tres Marias Amazon is a subspecies of the Double Yellow-Headed Amazon. These birds are found on the Tres Marias Islands off the western coast of Mexico. These birds are quite rare and are often confused with the Magna Double Yellow-Headed Amazon, probably because of their yellow heads.
