White Bellied Caiques originated in South America, in areas south of the Amazon River, in Peru and Ecuador. They have distinctive yellow-orange heads, necks featuring a darker tone, white bellies and chests, green thighs and abdomen. Blue is the prevalent color. They are not very big, measuring about 9 inches, and sex is not easily determined. White Bellies are playful and interactive, and they like to chew on things. These birds are sociable and easy-going.
