Catalina Macaws appeared as the result of crossbreeding of Scarlet Macaws with Blue and Gold Macaws. These parrots are very large and very noisy. It is very important for potential owners to learn as much as possible about these birds, because improper socialization can result in destructive behavior. Catalina Macaws are brightly colored, and this makes them popular among pet lovers. These birds can be found in Mexico and South America.
