Northern Mockingbird

A northern mockingbird chick should be kept in aviaries for safe-keeping. A white patch in wing, especially visible in flight and black legs make these birds recognizable. Juveniles have spotted breast. When adults, birds of both sexes look similar. These birds are found in just about every habitat type in the state.
