Hummingbird Nests

Hummingbird nests are the smallest of bird nests and can be viewed in most zoo aviaries. Males don’t take part in building the shelter and feeding the young. They just breed with the females and disappear. The mother incubates the eggs about 15-22 days and than feeds the babies, which are born naked and blind.
