The species choose the same place to breed and they usually come bask to this place to breed. The females build the nests before copulation and that takes them about 2 weeks to 20 days. Their nests are cup or turban shaped and are made of plant and with spider webs.

These animals surpass long distances – about 3000 miles. In winter these species travel to Central Mexico. During this traveling the species stop often for a short time to feed and have rest. At night they have rest to retain their energy. Humming bird migration is rare, so such photos are not readily available from a breeder.
