If you want to enjoy the wonderful view of a hummer hovering, make a feeder and put some sugar syrup in it. Red color of the feeder attracts more birds, but don’t add dye into the syrup. Honey is dangerous for these creatures.

These creatures cannot be domesticated; they are not adapted to captivity and should live only in their natural habitat. There are about 400 species of these creatures, but only 17 of them are found in the USA. All the others live in Central and South America. If you happen to find a pet for sale, ask for a picture and determine the type of the breeder.
