White Winged Dove
A white winged dove can be obtained from many breeders or aviaries.
These pigeons nest singly or in colonies, in various leafy trees or desert scrubs. Clutches contain two eggs, and it takes two weeks for them to hatch. Both male and female rear their young and feed them on pigeon’s milk.

These pigeons were widespread at the beginning of the 20th century, and later their population started waning due to the intensive destruction of their habitat. In summer, this pigeon can be found in Uvalde, San Antonio and Beeville and ranges along the Rio Grande to El Paso and westward. A white winged dove can be obtained from many breeders or aviaries.
