The birds are found mainly in Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela. They feed on vet-recommended pellet diet that includes a little seed, and a choice of fruits and vegetables. These are intelligent birds and some of them can even be trained to go to the bathroom in special areas when they are out of their cages.
