A female cockatiel bird is not as bright as male birds. They were discovered in the 18th century, and this is also about time they were brought to England and Europe. These birds come from Australia, where they are concentrated in continental woodlands near rivers and lakes. They feed on seeds, grains, leaves, grasses and berries, and they nest high in trees. They have a specific ‘tail-first’ manner of entering their hollows. A female cockatiel bird is not as bright as male birds.
