These Geese are monogamous, they make pair forms a long-term bond. Usually one brood is produced per nesting season. The nesting season depends on the habitat of the goose. The female builds the nest of dry grass, moss, sticks and water plants, and lines it with down and feathers.

The Canada Goose is generally associated with water in the park. Thus breeding birds were observed in the park, performed from 1996-1999, during the breeding season, primarily along the Little River. Actually the the habitat preferred by this species includes a variety of meadows, small islands, pastures and fields, marshes, ponds and lakes.
