Canadien Goose
The canadien goose is easily recognizable in photos by a breeder.
Breeding sites include vast territories ranging from Alaska to California and Massachusetts. In the fall, the birds gather in V-shaped flocks consisting of 100-1000 geese and fly to winter sites located in Mexico and Gulf Coast. Currently, due to large numbers of birds in city parks and reservoirs, they are considered pests sometimes.

Branta canadensis is a scientific name of the species commonly found in North America and comprised of about 11 sub-populations that differ a little in coloring and preferred habitats. All sub-population have a black head, long neck, prominent white straps on the cheeks, and a brownish body. The canadien goose is easily recognizable in photos by a breeder.
