Bird Breeder

A male usually walks with the little geese. Protecting the nest a male makes a very formidable adversary, and his wings are capable of delivering a blow of surprising force, sufficient to rout foxes and similar predators, not to mention humans.

These birds mate for life, and the family group remains together for several months after hatching the young. Usually the female make a nest and take care of the eggs and the male protects the nest, guarding its family. The nest is always close to the water. A bird breeder will usually belong to the aviaries clubs that support the resposible breeders.
