Giant Canada Goose
A giant canada goose aviary will have the bird at all ages.
At present, these birds are commonly found in North America and are also doing fine in Great Britain and Scandinavia after having been introduced there. They are the largest birds within the species with the wingspan about 6 feet. An adult bird weighs about 24 pounds.

This sub-species was once considered extinct until remnant flocks were found in the 1960s. The birds found themselves on the verge of extinction because of habitat destruction and over-hunting. Thanks to re-introduction of the birds and numerous conservation programs, the sub-species was re-established. A giant canada goose aviary will have the bird at all ages.
